The supplier code of conduct and purchasing policy demands the partners to act with respect to the UN Global Compact. The application of FSC and PEFC (forestry operations) means that we evaluate our suppliers and contractors on human rights parameters.

Where Holmen operates the national legislation has incorporated the international conventions. We are working with the unions and the European Works council to ensure that equal rights will be provided in our supply chain and among contractors.
